Fans of street art can admire a beautiful 80 square metre mural in pastel tones that has taken residence at number 36 rue Saint Christophe in downtown Brussels. The work of art created by French artist Anthea Missy is a portrait of Ihsane Jarfi, a young homosexual murdered in 2012 in Liège, Belgium and serves as a memorial for all victims of homophobic acts.
The commemorative mural was commissioned by the RainbowHouse, and inaugurated on May 17, 2018, in the presence of the family of the victim, representatives of the LGBTQI + community and a few hundred people.
The plate also honors in a wider sense all victims of discrimination
